Paul Zweig

1935–1984

Paul Zweig grew up in Brooklyn and lived in France for a decade beginning in the 1950s. He was a poet, literary and social critic, and memoirist. An assistant professor at Columbia University and later an instructor at Queens College of the City University of New York, Zweig wrote a two-volume memoir, discussing his illness and impending death.
