Nissim Krispil

b. 1947

Nissim Krispil is an Israeli anthropologist who specializes in the plants, herbs, and dietary traditions of immigrants from Yemen, Morocco, and Iraq. He has also studied the customs of Arab families. Krispil leads tours pointing out the flora in Israel, and is the author of a number of studies.
