Myriam Anissimov

b. 1943

Myriam Anissimov was born in a refugee camp in Sierre, Switzerland. She has lived in Paris since 1966, where she is a novelist, journalist, and actor. Her nonfiction works include a biography of Primo Levi, for which she received the WIZO Prize. Anissimov was also named Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.
