Maurice-Louis Branger

1874–1950

Born in Fontainebleau to a provincial French family, Maurice-Louis Branger began working as a photographer in 1895. From his Photopresse studio, he developed images of Parisian daily life and all manner of popular and high culture, from legal trials of interest to the public to motorsports.
