Mario Szichman

1945–2018
An Argentine writer, journalist, and literary critic, Mario Szichman lived in New York, where he worked for United Press International and the Cadena Capriles media company of Caracas. Szichman wrote about assimilation, identity, tradition, immigration, and antisemitism. In 1980, he received the first literary prize from Ediciones del Norte.
