Marco Bonomo

b. Late 19th Century

Little is known about Marco Bonomo, an Ottoman Jew who migrated to Cuba before 1907. In 1908, he went back to Istanbul to marry, then returned to Cuba with his new wife. A few years later, his wife and son moved to Morocco and then France, to his chagrin. Bonomo must have received a French education at some point in his life, as he wrote letters in that language. His occupation in Cuba is unknown.
