Marcia Falk

b. 1946

Marcia Falk was born in New York City. Falk is a poet, translator, liturgist, and artist who holds a doctorate in English from Stanford University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the Hebrew University. Now associated with the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, Falk taught Hebrew and English literature and creative writing at several universities. Her translations include volumes of poems by Yiddish poet Malka Heifetz Tussman and Hebrew poet Zelda.
