Leonard Fein

1934–2014

Leonard Fein was a Boston-based journalist, educator, and activist. In 1974 he founded Moment magazine with Elie Wiesel. Fein was also the founder of Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger, and the National Jewish Coalition for Literacy. A liberal Zionist and active Reform Jew, he was a columnist for the Forward.
