Jules Harlow

b. 1931

Born and brought up in Sioux City, Iowa, Jules Harlow was ordained as a rabbi by the Jewish Theological Assembly of America in 1959. As an editor, liturgist, and translator who has spent his career at the Conservative movement’s Rabbinical Assembly, Harlow has written and produced numerous works for congregations, including the High Holiday prayer book, the siddur for weekday and Sabbath services (Siddur Sim Shalom for Shabbat and Yom Tov; Siddur Sim Shalom for Weekdays), along with teaching materials and commentaries.
