Jerome Badanes

Jerome Badanes was a Brooklyn- born screenwriter, novelist, and poet whose works were inspired by the civil rights and antiwar movements. He taught creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College and urban studies at Vassar College. Badanes received the Avery Hopwood Award in Poetry.
