Isaac ben Jacob Mamo

1880–1967

Born in Nabeul, Tunisia, Isaac ben Jacob Mamo was among the earliest Zionist leaders in the area. He served as secretary of the Tunisian delegation at the first Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, and continued to attend through 1911. He spent his last years in Jerusalem.
