Henry Denker

1912–2012

Born in New York City, Henry Denker was a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, and writer for television and radio. Denker’s background as a lawyer explains his frequent use of legal themes. His plays have appeared on Broadway, and for ten years he wrote, directed, and produced the radio series The Greatest Story Ever Told. Denker received the Peabody Award, the Christopher Award, and the Variety Showmanship Award.
