Gideon Shimoni

b. 1937

Gideon Shimoni, a professor of Judaism and Zionist history, was born in South Africa and taught at the Hebrew University’s Institute of Contemporary Jewry, where he held the Shlomo Argov Chair in Israel–Diaspora Relations.
