Eva Deutsch
1924–1990
Eva Deutsch was born in Poland and was the only member of her immediate family to survive the Holocaust. After the war, she moved to Vienna, where, with Brigitte Schwaiger, she published memoirs of her childhood and struggle to survive. The story of Deutsch’s life was adopted into a play by Topsy Küppers.
