Elaine Durbach
b. 1953
Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Elaine Durbach now lives in Maplewood, New Jersey. She received a journalism degree from Rhodes University in South Africa in 1972, and came to the United States on a World Press Institute scholarship in 1978, permanently immigrating in 1981. Durbach serves as central bureau chief for the New Jersey Jewish News.
