Dorit Rabinyan
b. 1972
Born in Kfar Saba, Israel, to an Iranian family, Dorit Rabinyan is a novelist and television drama writer who lives in Tel Aviv. Her novel Persian Brides describes the lives of Jewish women in early twentieth-century Iran. Rabinyan has earned the Prime Minister’s Prize and the Best Drama of the Year Award from the Israeli Film Academy.
