David Verlengo
d. 1656
David Verlengo belonged to a family whose members lived in Verona’s Jewish community from the seventeenth through the nineteenth centuries. He most likely dealt in credit in the city’s ghetto. In his will, David entrusted the guardianship of his son, apparently his only offspring, who was still a minor, to his wife and two rabbis, one of whom was the Venetian Samuel Aboab, formerly of Verona.
