Daniel C. Matt

Zohar-scholar Daniel C. Matt earned his doctorate at Brandeis University. He served as professor of Jewish spirituality at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley from 1979 until 2000, and is an author, translator, and leading scholar of Jewish mysticism. He is producing a multivolume, annotated English translation of the Zohar.
