Dan-Benaya Seri

b. 1935

Dan-Benaya Seri was born and raised in Jerusalem. His themes as a novelist include fantasies and pictures of Mizrahi society. Of note is his novella Elef hanashim shel Naftali Siman-Tov (The Thousand Wives of Naftali Siman-Tov; 1987), which was adapted for the screen. Seri is the recipient of the Prime Minister’s Prize.
