Constantijn Netscher

1668–1723

Constantijn Netscher was a Dutch painter known for his portraits, landscapes, and historical scenes. Born in the Hague, he was one of twelve children of a prominent court portrait painter. Only he and one other brother followed in his father’s footsteps and became artists.
