Clive Sinclair

1946–2018

Born in London, Clive Sinclair’s works include short stories, novels, essays, and a critical study of Yiddish writers Isaac Bashevis Singer and Israel Joshua Singer. His style is noted for its use of wordplays. Sinclair received the Somerset Maugham Award and the PEN Silver Pen for Fiction.
