Charles S. Liebman

1934–2003

Born in New York and brought up in Israel, Charles S. Liebman was a scholar of Jewish sociology and political science at Bar Ilan University. His work addressed the culture of Judaism and the Jewish people in the United States and Israel, in books and compelling articles. He received the Israel Prize in 2003.
