Boris Khersonsky

Poet and psychologist, Boris Khersonsky was born in Chernovtsy, Ukraine. He chairs the department of clinical psychology at Odessa National University and has written numerous books about that field. He began publishing poetry in the 1960s and during the next two decades was actively involved in samizdat poetry in Odessa. His first book of poetry appeared in 1993. He was poet laureate of the Kievski Lavrie Poetry Festival in 2008.
