Binnie Kirshenbaum

b. 1964

Binnie Kirshenbaum, the author of short story collections and novels, was born in Yonkers, New York, and teaches fiction writing at Columbia University. She is the recipient of a New York Fine Arts fellowship, the Goodman writing award, the Critics’ Choice Award, and was named one of Granta magazine’s Best Young American Novelists.
