Bernard D. Weinryb

1900–1982

Bernard Dov Weinryb was a prolific social and economic historian of East European Jewry. Born in Poland, he studied in Breslau at the Jewish Theological Seminary and at the university. In 1934 he moved to Palestine and in 1939 to the United States, where he taught at various universities and Jewish colleges.
