Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett

Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is a Toronto-born professor of performance studies at New York University. She received her doctorate in folklore from Indiana University in 1972. A filmmaker, author, editor, and folklorist, Kirshenblatt-Gimblett has produced works about ethnography, food, tourism, and museums.
