Arthur Waskow

b. 1933

Born in Baltimore, Arthur Waskow is a rabbi, author, educator, activist, and key figure in the Jewish Renewal movement. Involved throughout his career in politics, environmental issues, Jewish theology, and peace efforts, he received the 2001 Abraham Joshua Heschel Award from the Jewish Peace Fellowship.
