Arlene Agus

b. 1949

Credited with establishing new rites for contemporary Jewish women, Arlene Agus, an author and feminist activist, was co-founder of Ezrat Nashim, an early Jewish feminist organization. She now serves as executive consultant to Jewish family foundations and as a teacher at the Skirball Center for Adult Jewish Learning at Temple Emanu-El in New York City.
