Angelina Muñiz-Huberman

b. 1936

Born in France to refugees of the Spanish Civil War, Angelina Muñiz-Huberman moved to Mexico at age six, where she has been a writer and professor of comparative literature at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Many of her works deal with the situation of conversos and their place in Jewish history. Muñiz-Huberman has written novels, poetry, and essays.
