Angela Bianchini
b. 1921
Angela Bianchini is an Italian novelist, short story writer, literary critic, and essayist. Born in Rome, she immigrated to the United States in 1941. In 1952 Bianchini returned to Italy and wrote for several newspapers and journals—such as Il Mondo and L’Espresso—and also wrote cultural programs and scripts for RAI, the Italian Broadcasting Corporation. For many years she has contributed regularly to La Stampa and its literary supplement Tuttolibri.
