Alan Schechner

b. 1962

Alan Schechner heads the school of Visual and Interactive Arts at Southhampton Solent University, England. In his art he has explored media such as animation, digitally manipulated photography, and video projection. A central theme is how Holocaust imagery is used, by whom, and to what ends. Schechner’s work has been featured at galleries, museums, and film festivals in Europe and the Americas.
