Admiel Kosman
b. 1957
Admiel Kosman is a poet and a professor of Talmudic studies. Born in Haifa and educated in a religious environment, he attended yeshiva and earned his doctorate in Talmud at Bar-Ilan University. He teaches at Potsdam University in Germany, and is also the Academic Director of the Abraham Geiger College, a rabbinical seminary for Reform rabbis. He won the Brenner Prize in 2000.
