Abraham Abramson

1752–1811

Abraham Abramson and his father Jacob Abraham (1723–1800) were the only Jewish royal medalists in Germany in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. He was appointed royal medalist in 1781 and in 1792 became a member of the Preussische Akademie der Künste, Berlin.
