Bob Perelman

b. 1947

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Bob Perelman is a poet, critic, editor, translator, and educator who is a professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania. Perelman studied Greek and Latin and attended the Iowa Writers Workshop in 1969. He is the author of more than fifteen volumes of poetry, as well as numerous critical works of prose.
